Publication Ethics

Innovative Biology Education Journal (IBEJ) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice.

Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication

The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. IBEJ is committed to ensuring ethical practices throughout the publication process.

Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for evaluating submitted manuscripts based on their academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance to the focus and scope of the journal.

Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions and contribute to improving the quality of manuscripts through objective, constructive, and confidential peer review.

Duties of Authors

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, accurate, and have not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original and that all sources used in the manuscript are appropriately cited and acknowledged. Plagiarism in any form constitutes unethical publishing behavior.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the publication process.

Research Ethics

Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must comply with applicable ethical standards and regulations. Ethical approval and informed consent must be obtained where required.
