PEER REVIEW PROCESS
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the Proceeding of IJC-MaSTEd (International Joint Conference on Mathematics, Science, Technology, and Education) undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance to the conference theme and scope.
Review Model
The peer review process applied is double-blind peer review, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure objectivity and impartiality.
Initial Screening
Each submission is first evaluated by the editorial team to assess its suitability with the focus and scope of the proceedings, compliance with author guidelines, and basic academic quality. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected without external review.
Review Process
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:
- Originality
- Methodological soundness
- Clarity
- Relevance
- Contribution to mathematics, science, technology, and education
Review Decisions
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:
- Accept submission
- Accept with minor revisions
- Accept with major revisions
- Reject submission
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers’ and editors’ comments within the specified timeframe.
Final Decision
The final decision regarding publication is made by the editor after the revised manuscript has been evaluated and approved.
Confidentiality and Ethics
All submitted manuscripts and review reports are treated as confidential. Reviewers and editors must disclose any conflicts of interest and adhere to ethical standards in scholarly publishing.
Plagiarism Check
All accepted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening prior to publication. Manuscripts that do not meet the originality standards will be rejected.
