Author Guidelines

The Proceeding of IJC-MaSTEd (International Joint Conference on Mathematics, Science, Technology, and Education) welcomes original and high-quality manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions must align with the focus and scope of the conference proceedings.

Scope of the Proceedings

Submitted manuscripts should address topics related to mathematics education, science education, technology education, and interdisciplinary studies, particularly those emphasizing innovative, inclusive, and collaborative approaches to addressing global challenges in education.

Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts must be written in English.

  • The length of the manuscript should be 6–10 pages, including references.

  • Manuscripts must follow the official IJC-MaSTEd Template.

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.docx).

Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:

  1. Title

  2. Author(s) Name(s) and Affiliation(s)

  3. Abstract (150–250 words)

  4. Keywords (3–5 keywords)

  5. Introduction

  6. Methodology

  7. Results and Discussion

  8. Conclusion

  9. Acknowledgments (optional)

  10. References

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should clearly state the purpose of the study, methodology, key findings, and conclusions. Keywords should reflect the core content of the manuscript and support indexing and discoverability.

Citation and References

All references must follow the APA Style (7th Edition). Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system of the Proceeding of IJC-MaSTEd. Submissions via email or other platforms will not be accepted. Authors must register and log in before submitting their manuscripts.

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions are based on the reviewers’ evaluations and the relevance of the manuscript to the proceedings’ scope.

Revision Policy

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with reviewers’ comments within the specified timeframe. Failure to submit revisions on time may result in rejection.

Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism. The acceptable similarity index is a maximum of 20%, excluding references. Manuscripts that exceed this limit or contain unethical practices will be rejected.

Copyright and License

Authors retain the copyright of their published work and grant the Proceeding of IJC-MaSTEd the right of first publication. All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Open Access Policy

The Proceeding of IJC-MaSTEd provides immediate open access to all published content, allowing users to read, download, copy, distribute, and reuse the material with proper attribution to the original authors and source.

Authors are advised to carefully read and follow these guidelines prior to submission. Manuscripts that do not comply with the Author Guidelines may be returned for revision or declined during the initial editorial screening.

Conference Proceedings Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

This section publishes original and high-quality research articles in mathematics education, science education, technology education, and interdisciplinary studies aligned with the conference theme. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process and are published as open access.
